We were home in CO for a week, then headed over to Ben & Becky's for a week so Darin could meet with Deseret Book. We had a fun time there too--Gavin & Tessa picked up where they left off, as good little buddies. We did a little sledding, played at the playground, and ate out a lot! Darin & Ben did a little skiing and hung out with Robert Redford (kind of). We also went to the Church Museum near Temple Square. Gavin had a 24-hour flu bug while we were there, unfortunately, but then was back to normal the next day & has been ever since! Speaking of Gavin, he has been such a good boy--he continues to amaze us with things he notices, says and remembers. We think he'll be a really good BIG brother...

Update!
It'd be hard to go back & detail the last 3 months, so I'll give the quick version, and vow to be better at posting! We enjoyed our time in AZ--from the last week of November through the first week of February. We got to see ALL our family on both sides over the holidays (including new additions Sadie & Trevor), which was a treat. We spent most of our time at the Heflins, and got a taste of their fun and busy life. Gavin LOVED having instant playmates in Bryant and Brenna especially, and still mentions them regularly. The Heflins were great hosts and good to have us there for so long. Riley deserves credit for giving up his bedroom for us that whole time, and sleeping in his parents' closet, without complaining (out loud anyway--If he did, I never knew about it!) Thanks Riley! We got to see Grandma & Grandpa Bishop quite a bit too, and spent several nights at their house. We also spent a week right after Christmas in Las Vegas, and had a good time with the whole Gibson gang. Darin got to work a total of five non-consecutive weeks as camp chef for Dan's deer hunts in Mexico during December and January, which he enjoyed a lot & hopes to do again this year. So, a recap: we CELEBRATED (Thanksgiving, Wyatt's birthday, Bryant's birthday, our anniversary, Christmas, New Years, Ashley's birthday, Trevor's blessing, Riley's birthday and Kody's Eagle court of honor). We WORKED (Darin at home and in Mexico and Angie at home). We PLAYED (with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents and friends), Darin got to ride his motorcycle and played "a LITTLE bit of golf" with Vince, we went to a U of A basketball game, went to the live Nativity, went to FAO Schwarz at Caesar's Palace and the Bellagio fountains and Atrium on the LV Strip, reinstituted midnight bowling in Vegas, went to the Ostrich farm and rode the monster truck, Gavin went to the zoo with Dad, played in the Heflins' backyard, played in the mud, played lots of games, played with lots of toys, made lots of messes, cleaned up lots of messes, went in the hot tub, went to story time at the library with Chrissie, Bryant & Brenna, went to Nursery with Bryant, got lots of scooter rides with Vince, took lots of baths with Bryant & Brenna, we all saw some movies, made lots of holiday treats, ate lots of holiday treats, Chrissie gave Gavin 2 haircuts, we went to the Red Rock model homes, I got Chrissie into The Bachelor (what a waste), and The Biggest Loser (a keeper), she got me into jogging (I haven't kept it up without her), and we couldn't get enough Mexican food, Eegees and Frost! It was a GOOD TIME!
