City Center, Las Vegas Strip

Saturday, we went to check out the new City Center on the Strip which includes 4 or 5 hotels, 1 casino and Crystals, the shopping area of crazy-exclusive shops (Tiffany, Cartier, Versace, Prada & many others I haven't even heard of). We didn't even go in any of the shops. We really only went through the lobby of 1 hotel on our way to Crystals, by way of one of the coolest water fountains I've seen. Unfortunately the couple of pictures we took of Gavin standing in front of it didn't turn out, so we'll have to try again some other time. It was a huge curved wall around the end of the traffic circle with a tiny cube-shaped texture on the whole thing. Water cascaded down the wall at different intervals and speeds... hard to explain, but very cool. Anyway, inside the shopping area were a couple of other cool water feature/sculptures which we did get a few pictures of. One was a bunch of big clear plastic tubes with swirling water inside, and the other one had tall ice columns lit up with changing colored lights. The architecture & design/materials were pretty neat, and they should be, for the 8 billion dollars we heard it cost! Anyway, we had a good time & didn't spend a dime!
