Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful day, just the four of us... fun and relaxing. Waiting to go downstairs...
Ellie got to go in first, followed by Gavin.
First look at what Santa brought... a Bat Cave for Gavin (which we hear Brady & Logan & Aaron got too!)
A new ornament for the tree in his stocking (a Bishop tradition).
Meanwhile, Ellie tried out her new ball popper!
 Oranges, of course.
After checking out our stockings, we had breakfast--bubble bread!
Then, on to opening some presents! Cute hooded towels from Grandma & Grandpa Bishop,
 Star Wars stuff,
Ellie got a stroller for her doll from Gavin,
and these cute PJ's from Grandma & Grandpa Bishop.
 More Star Wars...
 and winter essentials.
Ellie finally got the hang of opening her own presents all by herself!
Gavin got his long-awaited Scentsy buddy (and Ellie got the lamb).
 Most of his stuff,
 and most of hers.
Checking out eachother's (Ellie's camera & Gavin's Zhu Zhu pet).
and when the action died down, it was back to the cabinet for Ellie!
While we missed being in Tucson for Christmas (where we'd been every year since Gavin was born), it was a really great day. We got to talk to most everyone in our families, and we loved the fun presents from Grandma & Grandpa Bishop--thanks so much! We made a ham for dinner with au gratin potatoes, salad and corn off the cob with bell peppers. Delicious. We watched movies, Gavin & Ellie played with their new toys, and we just enjoyed being together. Before tucking in that night, Gavin said, "I don't want to go to bed, because then, Christmas will be over." Yes, but just until next year!
