Introducing Greyson Spencer Bishop

What a great day! Mom and baby are doing great! We arrived at the hospital at 8:10 am, and less than two hours later we were holding our sweet new baby boy Greyson! The doctor was great with the exception of accidentally slipping and telling Angie the sex of our baby a week early. So much for being surprised! Even knowing we were having a boy, we had not finalized his name until late afternoon today. Guess we had to get to know him better. He weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz.--fitting for a guy born on 7/7/11. St. Luke's was a great experience. It was the first time that Angie got to see and hold the baby very shortly after the birth. With Gavin and Ellie it was hours before she really got to see them.

We feel so blessed, and we know that prayer works and miracles do happen if we have faith in our Heavenly Father! We still pinch ourselves that we now have had 3 children in the last 5 years after having to wait over 13 years.
Angie was ready to go...

Finally we figured out how to get a baby over 7 lbs.
What a perfect little guy!

Bonding...

Gavin has been very excited to have a little brother.

Ellie was not too sure about a new brother. Now that she is the middle child she was more interested in playing games and pushing all of the buttons on the hospital equipment.
